They say that a tie is like kissing your sister. Well, it’s the 21st century! And, what’s wrong with a little sibling smooch when it’s the difference between a winning season and a losing season? The co-rec team played to it’s third tie along the way to another successful season (9-6-1.) Once again, a sizzling league tournament made all the difference. Twas a different story for the beleaguered men’s team. Forfeits, near-forfeits, injured outfietders who had to kneel between pitches…. However, even the men’s team showed uncommon valor, fighting back from a horrendous start to flirt with .500. Alas, it was not to be. A season ending doubleheader loss marked the end of a 14 year run.
